Captain Schneider will tell the story of the revolutionary Liberty ship
construction program and the World War II role of the merchant
marine crews who sailed these ships. He will also speak about
the Project Liberty Ship and Living History Cruise programs to preserve
the John W. Brown and keep alive the story of its historical importance.
There are only two Liberty Ships left. Come to hear about one.
