Hike the Wissahickon Valley

How about a fun little 5-mile hike in the Wissahickon Valley! Get out and get some great mid-summer exercise. We will start at Bruno’s Restaurant on the corner of NorthWestern Avenue and Germantown Pike in the Chestnut Hill Section of Philadelphia (across from Chestnut Hill College). We will be walking at a leisurely pace, on the flat gravel path commonly called “Forbidden Drive”. The turnaround point will be the Valley Green Inn. Afterwards we can meet at Cedars Café (at the end of Forbidden Drive) or Bruno’s for a cup of coffee or a sandwich to socialize with everyone on our hike. The hike should take 2 hours.
Remember all those New Year's Resolutions you made to keep in shape in 2017??. Well, this is the perfect way to keep the exercise program moving along.
